R & D Tax Credit Claims

Is your company claiming the R&D tax credit? The R&D tax credit provides a substantial saving on R&D costs for Irish companies. You could receive a refund from Revenue of 25% of the cost of qualifying R&D costs as an offset against your Corporation Tax or against your monthly PAYE/PRSI/USC. The costs of developing new products for your customers can qualify for the tax credit so long as they meet certain criteria. IP ownership of the products developed are not qualifying criteria for the R&D tax credit.
